Bio
While Alex Pritchard shares a similar name with a professional footballer, he is an athlete of a different sort. He raced for the University of Nottingham Cycling Club while completing his microbiology PhD. In 2019, he competed in the British Cycling Track Championships in Team Pursuit where four out of the five riders were full-time uni students and narrowly finished in 4th place with Bronze only 0.2 secs ahead. A second place at the 2022 RTTC Road Bike Time Trial Championship is his best solo performance in a national event so far.
