Bio
Amelia Watkinson is a professional triathlete and the 2020 Ironman Asia Pacific champion. Already a prolific age-group athlete as she completed her studies in Auckland University, she turned pro in late 2014 after becoming the national middle distance champion. The Kiwi already has 14 wins and countless more podiums over the middle distance under her belt, but she still wants more. A 4th place in her debut at the 2019 Ironman Germany and a win at the Ironman Asia Pacific Championship in Cairns the following year show a great appetite for the challenge the full distance poses.
