Bio
Frank Schauer is a German national champion in marathon. Hailing from Germany’s strong sports club talent identification system, he started running at the age of seven and attended his hometown’s sports high school. Eventually he turned pro, running first for SC Magdeburg from 2004 to 2013 then moving to Tangermünder Elbdeichmarathon eV. Aside from winning the national championship in 2013 as part of the Munich Marathon, he also took the university champion title for the 10,000 metres. He has continued to push his limits and bring his marathon times down even further by training in Iten, Kenya alongside the world’s best runners.
Schauer is a member of the Hoka One One EMEA elite athlete roster alongside Joe Skipper.
