Bio
Jan Hercog is an Austrian open water swimmer qualified to race the 2022 World Championships across 10 kilometres. He is the top-ranked swimmer at the nationally-acclaimed Union Schwimmclub Graz which holds several Austrian records, has produced state champions, and sent athletes to European and world championships. He barely missed the 2020 Tokyo Olympics marathon swimming cut-off by five seconds. With his qualification for the 2022 World Championship 10km in place, he hopes to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
