Bio
Joanna Patterson is an Irish national time trial champion and medical GP. Her legs and lungs of steel have seen her averaging 43 km/h over an 80-kilometre time trial and 46:63 km/h over 25 miles. In 2021 she recorded a 19:31 over 10 miles, the world’s fastest 10-mile split by a female that year. Apart from her cycling prowess she has also proved adept in running, so we could potentially see Jo both on the cycle and run legs on Nicola Spirig’s pacemaker team.
