Bio
Lucy Buckingham (nee Hall) is an Olympian, two-time mixed relay world champion, U23 European champion, and Challenge champion. Aged 20 when selected for the London Olympics as a domestique for Helen Jenkins, she was the youngest athlete on the starting line. While racing the French Triathlon Grand Prix, Lucy gained the nickname “la Sirène” or “mermaid” for her powerful swim which has seen her exit the water first at many races. However, she says her real strength is the combination of swim and bike – powerful weapons over the longer distances she now races.
